Heritage Language Learning Platform
We are building a home for heritage language learning — one program at a time. Our mission is to bring together community, culture, and curriculum so every child grows up connected to their language, roots, and identity. We are excited to begin this journey with our first featured program, Hindi Language Classes, held every Thursday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Clarksburg/Germantown area, primarily within the Clarksburg School Cluster. Through language and culture, we hope to inspire children to learn with confidence and embrace their heritage with pride.
Founded by a passionate group of experienced educators and community members, Lipi Hindi School has grown from a small weekend class into a thriving language and cultural institution serving Montgomery County families.
We are a group of experienced friends, educators, and parents who believe that language is the bridge between generations — and that every child deserves the gift of their mother tongue, culture, and values.
Our school was started with a simple mission: to create a joyful, community-centered space where children and adults alike could learn Hindi not just as a subject, but as a living connection to their roots, their family stories, and their identity.
Hindi is more than grammar — it's the language of stories, lullabies, and belonging.
We weave Indian traditions, festivals, and moral values into every lesson.
We believe learning is richer when it happens in community — together we grow.
What Makes Lipi Different
We don't just teach Hindi — we nurture language, culture, character, and confidence in a warm, supportive community.
Our teachers bring 10+ cumulative years of Hindi instruction, cultural education, and child development expertise to every class.
From age 4 preschoolers to adults, with structured beginner to advanced levels. Everyone learns at their own pace.
Diwali, Holi, Hindi Diwas, and more — our calendar is rich with cultural celebrations that make learning joyful and meaningful.
Moral stories, character-building lessons, and the values of seva, gratitude, and respect are woven into every level.
We are a close-knit community of families, volunteers, and educators who genuinely care about each student's journey.
Connecting with Montgomery County Public School and broader community educational initiatives for added credibility.
Our Teaching Team for 2026–2027
These dedicated educators have confirmed their commitment to the upcoming academic session.
Structured by knowledge and proficiency, each program blends Hindi language skills with cultural enrichment and moral education.
Weekly classes in a warm, welcoming classroom environment in Montgomery County.
Live, interactive sessions via Zoom for students who prefer learning from home.
Flexible hybrid attendance to accommodate busy family schedules and needs.
We believe that learning Hindi without culture is like reading without meaning. Our curriculum weaves language, tradition, and character together seamlessly.
Diwali, Holi, Hindi Diwas, Ram Navami, Independence Day — we celebrate India's rich calendar of festivals with our students and families.
From Panchatantra to modern tales, our moral education helps children develop empathy, respect, discipline, and gratitude.
Music is memory. We use Hindi songs, devotional bhajans, and folk poetry to make language learning deeply joyful and lasting.
We help children feel proud of their heritage — building the confidence and rootedness to navigate the world with a strong sense of self.
Indian philosophy's deepest gifts — service, humility, and gratitude — are woven naturally into class discussions and activities.
We actively involve parents and families in cultural events, creating community connections that extend far beyond the classroom.
Our school year is punctuated by vibrant celebrations, competitions, workshops, and community gatherings that bring Hindi alive.
Our biggest community event! Students perform skits, recite poetry, light diyas, and celebrate the Festival of Lights together with their families.
We celebrate the national Hindi language day with recitations, essay competitions, Hindi quizzes, and recognition of student achievements throughout the year.
Our year-end celebration showcases student progress through performances, presentations, and a graduation ceremony for students completing their level.
We are proud to be part of a broader educational and cultural ecosystem, connected with institutions that share our vision for heritage language education.

Hear from the parents, students, and community members whose lives have been touched by Lipi Hindi School.
My daughter has been attending for 3 years and the transformation is incredible. She not only speaks Hindi confidently now, but she has a beautiful connection to her Indian roots. The teachers are wonderful — patient, dedicated, and truly passionate.
I enrolled as an adult learner and it has been one of the best decisions I've made. The classes are engaging, the community is warm, and I finally feel connected to the language my grandparents spoke. Truly a special place.
The Diwali celebration was magical — our whole family attended. My son performed on stage in Hindi for the first time and the pride on his face was priceless. This school doesn't just teach Hindi, it builds confidence and identity.
My twins joined at age 4 and 7. The level-based structure is perfect — they both get exactly what they need. The moral stories and values lessons are something my kids carry into their daily lives. Worth every mile we drive.
I came from a non-Hindi speaking family but always wanted to connect with Indian culture. Lipi Hindi School welcomed me with open arms. The adult beginner program is thoughtful and effective. I can now read and converse in Hindi!
